I am excited to join the Junior Kindergarten team at St. James. I taught preschool for seven years. I was in a special education preschool classroom in Shelton and Trumbull, and in a kindergarten through second grade self-contained classroom in Derby for two years. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Early-Childhood Education from Boston University and my Masters degree in Special Education with a concentration in Early-Childhood Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University.
I grew up in Milford and have lived in Orange for the past four years. I teach Catechism for sixth graders and ninth graders at my church, Holy Infant Parish. I enjoy reading, going for walks, doing Zumba, and I have a passion for learning. I enjoy spending time with my fiancee, Kevin, two nieces who are five months and two and a half years old, and my two Godchildren, who are young adults. I am passionate about education and am looking forward to assisting the children at St. James grow in their academic skills, social skills, and spiritual development.
