I arrived at St. James as a parent, having chosen the best school to fit my family. When in 2008, the opportunity presented itself, I was delighted to take on the role of Preschool Teacher at St. James School and have served as the Head Teacher for both the three and four-year-old classrooms.
In 2017, I undertook the role of Coordinator for the entire Preschool program in addition to teaching the four-year-old class. I am privileged to oversee our youngest students and to direct their first educational steps in preparation for Kindergarten! Prior to working at St. James, I had numerous positions as a Teacher and Director of Early Childhood Programs.
I am blessed to be part of the St. James School community and have worn many hats beyond my role as teacher. I have worked as a substitute teacher, been an active volunteer, directed several Drama Club productions and at one time coordinated the 'Rainbows' program for grieving children.
I truly enjoy teaching at St James because the school views relationships with families as an important part of a child’s education and we truly value parent participation.
I reside in Milford with my wonderful family which includes my husband Joe, and my two children Alana and Joey, who are also alumni of St James School!
