I am thrilled to join the Saint James community as a First Grade teacher! I have been part of the parent community here since 2018. I have five children, four of whom attend St. James School: Rooney Mae, William, Linnie, Owen and Shane.
I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and Special Education (K-12). I graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a masters degree and focus in Special Education (Autism Spectrum Disorder). This is my 16th year teaching and with my background I am focused and driven to modify and differentiate my curriculum to meet the needs of all learners.
As an educator, I strive to instill a growth mindset in all of my students, teaching them that intelligence and abilities can be developed through hardwork and dedication. It is my goal as an educator to guide students and help them explore, follow and achieve their dreams while learning to serve God and others.
My time outside of the classroom is spent with my family and friends.
