I received my degree from Fairfield University. I then went on to attended Universidad de Madrid.
Prior to teaching, I worked for a consulting company doing business in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. During that time I was also able to travel to Guatemala! Seeing the world and being able to speak the language was such an amazing experience!
I taught Spanish for six years at St. Catherine of Siena School in Trumbull. I began teaching at St. James School in November 1993. I teach all grades, Preschool through eighth grade. I am also an instructor for Stratford Continuing Education: Spanish for Beginners and Conversational Spanish.
I truly enjoy teaching Spanish! When you introduce language at a young age, children are better able to absorb and retain the information. Languages bring people together!
