I began playing music at 3 years of age when I pulled out my mother's pots and pans in the kitchen to build a drum set! I hammered on them with soup spoons and my love of music was born!
My formal music education began in the third grade when I started drum lessons at D'Adarrio Music, right here in Stratford, on Barnum Ave. From there, I studied bass, guitar, cello, ukulele, and piano. . . And of course, the recorder!
I began my college career at Housatonic Community College and received my bachelor's degree from Southern Connecticut State University. I began teaching at St. James School in 2015. Teaching music is a passion of mine and I simply love working with the children at St. James School!
I truly enjoy all genres of music and will never say "no" to a slice of pizza!
