I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to build a career in music. My journey began in Denver, Colorado, where I was born and raised in the musical landscape of Northern Illinois. I later graduated from Rockford College, a pivotal moment that set the stage for my future in music. My love for church music has been a guiding force in my life. It was at the tender age of 15 that I first felt the call to provide musical direction for parishes, a role that I embraced with passion and dedication. This early experience set the stage for my exploration of other musical callings, including musical theater and teaching, all of which have enriched my life as an artist and a committed Christian.
After enduring the harsh Midwest winters, I felt the need to relocate to a warmer climate. This led to a decade of living in Orlando and using my instrumental skills as a pianist throughout the Walt Disney World property. I continued my work with churches, as I was committed to using my training as an organist and choir director to glorify God.
I am thankful to be a part of the St. James community. I hope to open my students' minds and hearts to the many choices of music available in our world and inspire them to sing their own song in a way that brings them joy.
