FORMAT
The tournament will double elimination and divisions will be determined following
the receipt of applications. Coaches will be notified of your first game and
brackets will be posted.
1- First team listed
(left) on the schedule is the home team and bench is located to right of scoring
table.
2- Junior varsity games consist of four 6-minute quarters and varsity games
consist of four 7-minute quarters.
3- Overtime periods will be two minutes for junior varsity games and three
minutes for varsity games.
4- Teams will receive 3 one-minute and 2 30-second timeouts during a game.
Teams will receive one extra timeout in each OT period.
5- National Federation of High School rules will govern play, except those
tournament rules specific within.
6- Teams must play at scheduled starting time if 5 rostered players are on
hand.
7- There is a 10-minute leeway in the event a team does not have 5 rostered
players at the scheduled starting time. Game will be forfeited if teams do
reach minimum level of players.
8- Teams must shoot at the basket opposite their bench in the first half.
9- Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their team throughout the tournament
10- Players may participate in only division of play in the tournament (i.e.,
junior varsity players will not be permitted to play in the varsity division).
11- A 20-point press rule will be implemented (teams up by 20 or more points
may not press).
In the event of inclement weather, etc., the tournament committee reserves
the right to reschedule games in the
best interest of the tournament.
